How today in 21st century, cast is still obeyed, followed religiously.

The Dome community in Bihar are the ones who clean houses of upper-cast, collect their garbage and wash the village streets.They are treated as Untouchables. 

The biggest celebration which takes places every year after 6 days of Diwali, 'Chhat Puja!'

And the most important thing used for this puja are the cane made basket and plates (Soop), which are made by none other than DOMES!

The irony is so evident ...
